Spiritual
Exploration Class 2008-2009
Spiritual Exploration is a ten month program
that supports participants exploring their personal spiritual
lives in a small group setting, deeply enriching their relationship
with God/Spirit and recognizing the ways that God is present
and working in their lives.
Classes are facilitated by the Rev. Dr. Alden
Sproull. He is trained to guide members in developing their
skills in deep listening and personal discernment. The class
is co-sponsored by Stillpoint.
Participants discuss reading material each
month that cover a variety of spiritual topics including spiritual
practices, living from the heart, prayer and our bodies, contemplation,
stillness, decision-making and much more. Class members also
experiences a variety of contemplation techniques during the
class. The personal sharing of spiritual practices and the
God's movement in their lives is powerful and moving experience.

What is the Commitment? The program consists
of ten four-hour sessions that meet once each month. Participants
who discern a call to become Spiritual Directors can then
apply to enter Stillpoint’s two year training program
in The Art of Spiritual Direction.
PLACE: Redlands, California. Stillpoint also
offers classes elsewhere in California.
FEE: The tuition fee is $375, which includes
all materials except books.
