Mission

Definition: Kairos – A special moment when God visits us to offer a unique opportunity for change and decisive action.

Vision and Mission: At Kairos we apply our Christian heritage, balanced by personal and collective wisdom, to encourage all people in the contemplative tradition. We support spirituality grounded in freedom, wisdom, and love.

Purpose: To assist people in the discovery of Kairos time of the soul.

• To enhance one’s personal spiritual journey
• To explore the frontiers of the contemplative life
• To build bridges among all people
• To provide movements of creative spiritual endeavor through spiritual direction
• To seek to understand all spiritual traditions
• To encourage interfaith dialogue in the Contemplative tradition with the commitment to always move toward service
• To aid in the discovery of ways to more fully enact compassion in the world
• To research spirituality among many groups including the marginalized and the disenfranchised
